Order Picker/Packer

Top Cut Foods is Australia's leading national provider of high quality meat products to the food service industry.

We currently have a vacancy on the production floor for a meat picker/packer worker.

The most important criteria for selection for this position will be a person who:

• has experience in meat picking/packing and hygiene
• has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• has well developed can do attitude with attention to detail
• has the ability to use initiative and work with a minimum of supervision, or effectively within a team environment, as required
• is punctual, reliable, flexible

It is preferable that the candidate demonstrates a level of competency in the following:

1. Ability to work in a cold environment

2. Ability to maintain consistent attendance

3. Ability to complete tasks as an individual or in a team environment

4. Read and understand Product codes, PLU's and batch labelling

5. Pack bulk meat products into vacuum pack bags

6. Must have experience in operating various packaging & labelling machines

7. Work in conjunction with Butchers and Warehouse colleagues to manage raw material & finished goods stock

8. Maintain a clean and organised work station
