Parts Interpreter

About the role

Join the dynamic team of NQ Auto Group as a Parts Interpreter based in Townsville, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our automotive parts department.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret customer needs and identify the correct automotive parts to fulfill their requirements

• Assist in maintaining an organised and well-stocked parts department

• Provide accurate and timely information to customers, both in-person and over the phone

• Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently

• Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction

• Participate in regular stock-taking and inventory management activities

• Continuously expand your product knowledge to better serve our customers

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts role

• Strong technical knowledge of automotive parts and components

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a positive customer experience

• Proficiency in using computerised parts ordering and inventory management systems

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• A collaborative and team-oriented approach

• Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning
