The opportunity
We are currently seeking a Passenger Services Training Officer, who can demonstrate accountability and integrity.
You will be providing our employees with the required knowledge and skillset for the Passenger Services Operations, as well as supporting employees’ development.
Main accountabilities include:
Coordinate and conduct induction training for new employees, emphasising safety, security, work health and safety, customer service standards, check-in requirements and all CSO functional requirements.
To control and coordinate record-keeping of all training data & re-certification dates, ensuring that staff maintain validity of certification & compliance standards are met.
Conduct airline specific training as required.
Responsible for overseeing assessments & performance standards, production & update of training manuals / materials / training courses & programs.
Assist in the evaluation of staff progress, performance & development and the compilation of performance statistics whilst identifying staff training requirements.
Maintain a strong safety culture within the workforce, driving OH&S & security awareness & compliance.
To control & co-ordinate company quality assurance documentation, including the compilation & writing of if required, and to undertake
Undertake other operational and general duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.
Work down as directed.
What we need from you
Sound computer and word processing skills to produce or update training manuals; create and update spreadsheets and maintain training records
Ability to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task
Previous training experience will be an advantage although access to achieve the ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification will be provided
Sound knowledge of Menzies’ operations is desirable
Initiative and proven ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A high degree of expertise in multiple carrier DCS systems and general Operational procedures.
Effective coaching and performance management skills.
An ability to lead by example.
An ability to prioritise & manage a concentrated workload.
