“Dulcet Cakes & Sweets” is a boutique patisserie café that offers you every sweet dream you can imagine.

We are currently seeking a full-time Pastrycook for our business located in Marrickville.

Your duties will include: 

  • Assist with ordering ingredients and checking stock each day
  • Deep cleaning the kitchen and ensuring the cleanliness of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations
  • checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
  • mixing and shaping dough 
  • make fillings for the shokupan
  • prepare and bake chiffon cakes and masking of the cakes
  • monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
  • decorate cakes with creams, fruits, icing and other toppings
  • operating machines which roll and mould dough
  • overseeing the production of cakes and pastries such as loading, baking, removal. De-panning and cooling processes. 
  • emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
  • assist with training other staff and communicate with store manager for relevant matters

 

In return you will receive:

  • Package: $73,150 per annum plus superannuation
  • Position: Full time (38 hours a week)
  • Ongoing support from our team

Requirements of position

 

  • AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV and at least 1 year of relevant work experience or 3 years to substitute formal qualification
