Full-Time Pastry Cook – $73,150 + 11.5% Superannuation Bar Fino is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Cook to join our team on a full-time basis in a fast-paced and professional kitchen environment. Located in the vibrant MLC building in the heart of the CBD, Bar Fino is a cult location.
Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $73,150 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation Hours: 38–40 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate start available for the right candidate Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and breads.
Develop new and seasonal recipes in line with customer preferences and trends. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry section. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering pastry ingredients and supplies.
Ensure quality and consistency in all pastry items produced. Follow food safety guidelines and workplace health and safety procedures. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques and presentation.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role. Formal qualification in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie preferred in Australia.
Excellent knowledge of traditional and contemporary pastry techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
