About the role

Darley Bakehouse is seeking an experienced Pastry/Pie/Cake Baker to join our team in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in producing high-quality baked goods for our thriving local business.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, pies, cakes and other baked goods to our exacting standards

• Ensuring all products meet our strict quality and presentation requirements

• Assisting with inventory management and stock control

• Collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and product ideas

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry/Pie/Cake Baker in a commercial setting

• Formal training in baking or a related culinary discipline

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods

• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team

• Passion for baking and a desire to continuously learn and improve your craft
