Payroll Admin

The Company  

Perigon Group is working with an Inner-city based Community Services organisation to recruit for a Payroll Administrator, a great opportunity for someone looking to commence a career in Payroll.

The Role

This 3-month contract with the possibility of extending / going permanent will be suitable for an immediately available or soon to be immediately available Payroll Admin who will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate empathy and respect for clients/employees.
• Perform various payroll administrative duties, including answering calls, emails, word processing, filing, archiving, mail collection, and other assigned tasks.
• Assist with payroll operations and duties.
• Utilise experience with Business and/or Payroll systems like Preceda or similar systems.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Prepare detailed documents using word processing and/or other business software.
• Assist in managing and monitoring business systems and processes.
• Respond to staff payroll inquiries.
• Learn all aspects of payroll operations for backup support.

About You

If you are an experienced Payroll Admin looking to take your career to the next level, then this role is for you. 

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of end-to-end payroll experience 
• High volume end to end payroll processing experience
• NFP industry experience or equivalent
• Intermediate excel skills 
• Experience with a large payroll system
