About the Organisation: 

Our client is a leading provider of aged care and disability support services Nationally, focusing on helping individuals live independently and engage with their communities. 


About the Role: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented People & Culture Administration Officer to join the team for an initial 6 month contract. You will be responsible for supporting, and championing key People and Culture operational processes and activities, in particular; timely and accurate creation and maintenance of employee records and compliance with industry and organisation specific regulatory requirements. Your adaptive and resilient outlook will assist in supporting multiple stakeholder groups providing effective administrative cover.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Complete the administration of new employee profiles and ensure new employee records meet ISO9001 standards 
  • Regularly monitor, report on and champion National Police checks, NDIS Worker Screening checks, Working With Children checks and any other required probity checks
  • Routinely ensure the clean-up of inactive or terminated employees from P&C records including HRIS and the NDIS Worker Screening portal
  • Oversight and triage of shared P&C inboxes 
  • Work closely with P&C Business Partners and P&C Corporate team on ad hoc projects
  • Support a healthy and accurate P&C document ecosystem predominantly through digitization
  • Arrange routine internal audits of P&C Operational processes
  • Support P&C Systems & Reporting Specialist with data mining, records update and anomalies identified during specific or routine checks
  • On an ad-hoc basis, partner closely with L&OD team for administrative support required for induction, in-house training programs or LMS management
What We’re Looking For: 
  • Ability to adapt quickly, engage with multiple stakeholders embodying courageousness, tenacity and perseverance
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.) to handle documentation and spreadsheets.
  • Basic systems familiarity and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new online CRM systems including “Page Up”, “Technology One” and HRIS.
  • Compliance understanding or an eagerness to learn, particularly in reviewing files and ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet targets and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
