ZIMMERMANN is seeking a skilled Performance Marketing Manager to lead our global performance marketing strategy. Based at our Rosebery, NSW, Head Office, you will report to the Global Digital Marketing Director and join our dynamic Digital Marketing team.
About our role:Execute and optimise the global digital performance marketing strategy developed with the Global Digital Marketing Director. You will work to optimise customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion through data-driven paid media campaigns. This role will ensure alignment with our global brand vision to drive revenue growth and increase Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS).
As the Performance Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution: Execute and optimise performance marketing initiatives, aligning with global and regional objectives. Drive cross-channel digital marketing campaigns that focus on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Oversee paid media investments across search, social, display, and affiliate marketing, ensuring continuous optimisation for effectiveness and efficiency. Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance using a data-driven approach to maximise ROAS and customer lifetime value, adapt global creative and messaging for local target audience relevance, and drive SEO strategy in collaboration with the Digital team. Provide technical, on-page, and off-page improvements to enhance organic rankings and client acquisition, with agency support.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the Global Digital Marketing Director and team to align strategies and share best practices across markets. Partner with commercial teams to ensure digital marketing supports retail and e-commerce goals. Work with CRM and Content teams to create a seamless omnichannel customer journey. Manage external media agency relationships, ensuring campaign performance accountability and budget management.
Data-Driven Optimisation & Reporting: Utilise Business Intelligence insights and digital dashboards to refine campaign strategies. Analyse key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and improvement recommendations. Develop reporting frameworks for transparent, data-driven leadership decisions. Stay informed on digital trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness
Budget & Investment Management: Manage the digital marketing budget, optimise spend allocation across channels for maximum impact. Ensure strong ROI on digital investments, track spending efficiency, and identify cost optimisation areas. Collaborate with finance teams to provide forecasts and post-campaign financial performance reviews
What you will bring to the role:A minimum of five years' experience in a digital or performance marketing role.Demonstrable experience in e-commerce SEO, SEM, and affiliate marketing.Ability to develop and provide feedback on creative assets to support campaigns, working with in-house designers and agencies to build high-engagement, on-brand creative.Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making, including knowledge of online metrics and analysis, with advanced experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.A high level of attention to detail.Interest in our industry; a passion to stay informed about trends and communication within the luxury fashion sector.A strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices in digital and performance marketing and measurement.Strong collaborative and communication skills.Degree-level qualifications or equivalent work experience.
