Perishables Export Operator

The Perishable Export Operator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end export process of temperature-sensitive goods, ensuring timely and compliant shipment handling according to customer specifications and international regulations. This role involves close coordination with freight forwarders, airlines, cold chain service providers, and clients to arrange bookings, prepare and verify all export documentation, and ensure that cargo is handled within strict time and temperature requirements.

Responsibilities

Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):

• Manage the end-to-end export shipment process, ensuring timely communication with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Verify and approve all costs paid to shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and responding to inquiries efficiently.
• Coordinate temperature-controlled logistics and ensure all perishable goods meet cold chain requirements throughout transit to maintain product integrity.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role you will have/ be:

• 3 + years’ experience in Freight Forwarding is essential.
• Essential experience in Perishable export operations across sea and air freight.
• Cargowise experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What’s on offer?
