Position Overview: As an Electronic Instrument Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of electronic equipment used across various industries. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of a wide range of instruments. This position requires a deep understanding of electronic systems and a commitment to quality service.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, including instrumentation and control systems.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Perform calibration and testing of electronic instruments to meet industry standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, providing timely solutions.
  • Document service activities, including maintenance records, calibration reports, and repair logs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in electronic equipment and instrumentation.
  • Provide training and support to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant Qualification
  • Proven experience as an Electronic Instrument Technician or in a similar role for at least 1 years
  • Strong knowledge of electronic systems, circuits, and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and calibration equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic equipment and calibration.

Salary:
 
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 – $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
