We are currently seeking an organised, proactive, and highly professional Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior School to join our Senior School team.
About the Role As the Personal Assistant to the Head of Senior School, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the Senior School leadership team. This dynamic role requires exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and outstanding interpersonal skills. You'll act as the primary point of contact for the Head of Senior School, managing communications, scheduling, event coordination, and high-level administration.
Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Provide executive-level support to the Head of Senior School including managing calendars, correspondence, and documentation.
- Coordinate key Senior School events, communications, and initiatives in collaboration with internal departments.
- Engage with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders as the first point of contact with professionalism and care.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, and support operational planning and project administration.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and alignment with MLC policies and Child Safety Standards in all interactions.
About You:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong initiative and a proactive approach to task ownership.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Right to work in Australia.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards.
- Experience in a school or similar environment (desirable).
- Experience in project coordination or executive administration (desirable).
