Personal Care Attendant

Personal Care Attendant required for low care facility. Position would be available as casual, with about 20 hours per week average offered. Option for permanent part time after probation period.

Must have minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or related field (please do not apply if you are a nursing student without pre-existing certificate). Must be available for regular sleepover shifts. Duties include but not limited to (and dependant on the shift you are on as to which duties you are performing on that given day):

Personal Care assistance/support/guidance with all aspects of hygiene, dressing, clothing choice, toileting & grooming. Cleaning bedrooms & ensuites Laundry of personal clothing of the residents as well as collecting linen/making beds

Some medication administration from Webster packs for those medication endorsed Holistic support/assistance for residents e.g social interaction (amongst other things) Other personal support assistance as required and agreed with resident and/or family.

Own transport to/from facility required (public transport available nearby). No travel required as part of the position. Please ensure you include a current mobile number and/or email for contact.
