An ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family based in Point Piper is seeking an experienced and professional Personal Family Chef to join their household team.
This is a non-live-in, full-time role responsible for preparing three meals per day, with flexibility for occasional events or travel. The family enjoys traditional and contemporary Chinese cuisine, along with healthy international dishes. Confidence in Chinese cooking is preferred, though we’re open to candidates who are willing to learn and grow in this area.
About the Role:Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals with a focus on Chinese and international cuisine
Create weekly menus, manage ordering and suppliers
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and well-stocked
Cater for family meals and occasional entertaining
Maintain discretion and professionalism in a private home
Work closely with the Chief of Staff and support team
Provide input into an upcoming kitchen renovation to improve workflow
Ideally has experience as a Private or Personal Chef
Background as a Head or Senior Chef in a high-end restaurant or similar
Strong in Chinese cuisine (or eager to learn)
Professional, reliable, and takes pride in producing great food
No ego, no drama — just calm, capable and easy to work with
Understands the boundaries of working in a private family home
Speaks Mandarin (a bonus, but not essential)
Commercial Cookery qualification (Cert III/IV or equivalent)
Food Safety Certification
Police Check (or willing to obtain)
Driver’s licence preferred
Based in Point Piper, Sydney
Full-time, non-live-in role
