Pest Control Technician

ABOUT US:

Blue Chip Termite & Pest Control is a fast growing Brisbane based pest control company. We pride ourselves on giving a good service to our customers. We maintain a high retention rate of our repeat customers. We support our staff in providing them with good quality equipment and an organised office environment. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for friendly, easy going people to join our next intake of staff, including a general and/or timber pest control technician and 2 x trainee general pest control technicians (all training will be provided).

EXPERIENCED PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN/TIMBER PEST

The successful applicant will have the following:

• General/timber pest control licence

• Driver’s licence

• Current police check (or ability to obtain one)

• Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)

• A reliable work ethic 

• Based on the northside

• Basic computer literacy

• Good oral and written communication skills

• The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment

• Be physically fit, well presented and able to go into subfloors and roof voids

TRAINEE TECHNICIANS X 2

The successful applicants will have the following:

• Driver’s licence

• Current police check (or ability to obtain one)

• Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)

• A reliable work ethic 

• Based on the northside

• Basic computer literacy

• Good oral and written communication skills

• The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment

• Be physically fit, well presented and able to go into subfloors and roof voids

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Penalty rates apply after 38 hours. Overtime is not expected but available, including Saturdays.

• Minimum 10-day closure over the Christmas/New Year period each year.
