About the role

 

Goldpack Pty Ltd trading as Optimal Medical Solutions is currently seeking a full-time experienced Pharmacy Technician to work with us from our Myaree office in Western Australia.

 

The Pharmacy Technician reports to the Production Manager and Pharmacy Operations Manager to ensure that packing schedules are followed, monitoring of inventory levels, ensuring timely communication with relevant departments, providing training to staff members and assisting production to maintain an efficient process.

 

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations for afternoon/evening shifts and meeting customers delivery deadlines. Additionally, you will also be responsible in ensuring that your team are adequately supported to provide exceptional and technical product servicing throughout our Western Australia region.

 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day production packing, working closely with the Production Manager, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Operations Manager to ensure that our pharmacy clients receive premium grade products in an efficient and timely manner. This position is responsible for allocating resources effectively to support successful client services and operational outcomes for our business.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Supporting the pharmacist in various tasks such as dispensing medications and maintaining inventory.

  • Receiving and preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.

  • Preparing medications for dispensing by packaging them appropriately, affixing necessary labels with important information, and ensuring that clear and accurate instructions are provided as specified by the pharmacist.

  • Ensuring precise and thorough entry of medication details for all prescriptions provided to patients.

  • Preserving proper storage and a safe condition for drugs.

  • Responsible for managing pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating required medications and make necessary coordination for supplying needs by placing orders on time.

  • Observing and following all relevant regulations and industry guidelines for pharmaceutical practices, including but not limited to maintaining stringent cleanliness, health and safety protocols in the work environment and upholding the utmost confidentiality and security of patient information.

  • Has skills in a range of information and communication technology (ICT) systems (including the Microsoft office suite) and have the ability to learn new ICT systems and processes as required.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum qualification required is AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. In the absence of formal qualification, 3 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time pharmacy technician experience is a must.

  • Strong client engagement skills.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and make informed decisions

Salary Between

$70,000.00 to $80,000.00 + 11.5% Sup.
