McArthur is working with a leading Not-for-Profit provider, to find a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. We are looking for caring, empathetic and committed staff, who can work autonomously, safely and confidently with Aged Care clients. What You'll Do:

As a Physiotherapist/Occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in establishing our services in the West Melbourne metro region and our new Braybrook Allied Health site. You'll be responsible for providing focused home-based and on-site services for older clientele (65+) with a variety of health conditions, accessing services through their Home Care Package (HCP).

  • Experience working in the Community Aged Care sector with clients receiving services through their Home Care Package.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload independently.
  • Deliver OT services and therapy in home, centre or community environments.
  • Developing and reviewing care plans that focus on reablement and enhancing clients' independence.
  • Arrange the provision of aids/equipment necessary for optimum function and independence of the client.
  • Collaborating with clients and their families to set achievable goals and ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with organisational standards.

What You'll Bring:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in the completion of physical assessments, development of care plans and implementation of evidence based clinical interventions for clientele with a variety of health conditions.
  • Be available for full days of work (Mon-Friday).
  • Understanding of CHSP/NDIS funding and referrals.
  • Police and Working With Children's checks.
  • Driver's licence and access to own car.
