We’re growing fast and we’re on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Industrial / Detail Designer to join our team and help deliver one-of-a-kind playgrounds across Australia.

About the Role
This is a mid-level position (3–5+ years’ experience) focused on detail design and documentation for the fabrication of our custom playgrounds, furniture and structures.
You'll play a vital role in developing high-quality shop drawings, collaborating with the broader design, production and installation teams, and transforming our project visions into a reality.
Develop detailed fabrication/shop drawings in SolidWorks
Resolve construction and buildability details creatively and practically
Prepare material schedules and documentation for manufacture
Collaborate with designers, suppliers, contractors and fabricators
Problem-solve to maintain high-quality design outcomes
Contribute to concept development and early-stage design

What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years' experience in industrial design, drafting or technical detailing
Highly detailed approach to design and documentation
Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential) — especially for shop drawings
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (preferred)
Strong understanding of general drafting standards and detailing practices
Confidence developing designs through the full process — ideation to documentation
Excellent time management, organisation and project tracking skills
Strong creative problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills — comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Passion for unique, high-quality design
Previous experience in playground design, steel fabrication, or architectural products (highly desirable)
Knowledge of Australian Standards for playgrounds (highly desirable)
