PMO Officers/ Project Support Officers - Data Analyst, PI Planning

One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage multiple PMO Officers/ Project Support Officers to assist with the development of their digital strategy with the aim to identify and research any gaps across the department. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Melbourne with flexible working arrangements available. The successful PMO Officers/ Project Support Officers will be offered a contract until December 2025 and receive a rewarding hourly rate!   

The successful PMO Officers/ Project Support Officers  will be responsible for the below:

• Contribute to project activities and apply project management practices and methodologies.  

• Collaborate with team to draft a range of program/project activities including governance,  reporting requirements and delivery of project artefacts.

• Coordinate meetings, including administration functions with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide governance and reporting activities

The successful PMO Officers/ Project Support Officers  will have experience in the following:

• Experience as a Project Support Officer within a PMO and/or program/project management environment

• Excellent written communication skills, including attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality briefs and papers.

• Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, including ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities in a complex, changing and high-pressure environment

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, monitoring and/or evaluation in the public sector.
