The Porteno Group is seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our dynamic team at Humble Bakery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the daily production of high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency and excellence while contributing to a positive work environment. Preparation of Baked Goods: Produce a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
Quality Control: Ensure all baked items meet our high-quality standards, including taste, texture, and presentation.
Ingredient Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and rotating stock to minimize waste.
Recipe Development: Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the product range.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace health and safety standards, ensuring all food preparation and storage complies with local regulations.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to meet customer expectations and production deadlines
