About Us

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), which aims to make sure NSW insurance schemes protect and support the people who need them, now and in the future. This role sits within our Delivery and Insights group, which helps SIRA’s people to understand their customers better, and to prioritise, deliver and track meaningful customer outcomes.

The group:

  • Provides an in-house insights consultancy function, including managing an extensive customer experience research program
  • Oversees and delivers whole-of-SIRA efforts to continuously uplift our customer experience maturity
  • Provides service design expertise to help people identify, explore and solve customer pain points using a human centred design approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with internal customers to identify and prioritise opportunities to help them scope, design and deliver initiatives
  • Removing barriers to and ensuring accountability to delivering key programs of work, including mapping end-to-end scheme experience
  • Collaborating and integrating with other capability streams within Delivery & Insights – and elsewhere in SIRA – to ensure a joined-up approach to challenges
  • Contributing to broader leadership discussions and supporting team members as SIRA progresses through its functional review
