We are pleased to extend an offer for the position of Manager with Prison Island Melbourne

We assume you can be the one to lead and develop this site.

Position:

Your role will be Manager, reporting to board members.

The position will be based at Melbourne.

Start Date:
Your expected start date will be beginning of May.

Languages: English and other languages would be a plus. 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: 1,937.20$ gross per week (SG already deducted)

  • Vacation: 20 days per year

  • Benefits: Reduction on the game’s price for you, and a 30% discount for your friends or family 3 time per year. 

Working Hours:
Flat-rate days and variable hours depending on the organization

Job Responsibilities:
As Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


1. Site management and operation

  • Supervise all day-to-day operations at the center (customer reception, game session management, cleanliness and security)

  • Manage site maintenance: preventive maintenance of cells, equipment and infrastructure

  • Manage inventory and orders (equipment, supplies, snacks & beverages)

  • Monitor performance indicators and suggest improvements to optimize profitability.


2. Team recruitment and management

  • Recruit, train and lead a dynamic team of reception staff

  • Draw up schedules based on operational needs and visitor numbers

  • Motivate and supervise the team to guarantee quality customer service

  • Manage site HR (contracts, absences, appraisals, etc.).


3. Customer experience and animation

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and manage returns and complaint

  • Propose initiatives to enhance the Prison Island experience (events, promotions, special offers)

  • Maintain a level of welcome and entertainment consistent with the brand's DNA.

4. Financial and administrative management

  • Manage the center's cash register and financial transactions

  • Monitor and optimize operating costs (energy, maintenance, salaries, purchasing)

  • Work with management to establish budgets and analyze results.
