About The Role
The Process Control Engineer is a full-time permanent position, based at Ingleburn. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide support for Insulation factories in the area of Process Control (including PLC's, Supervisory systems, Robots, Databases etc).
You will also deliver process control projects and collaborate on major capital projects that improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of factory operations across our various NSW sites.
Additionally, you will ensure adequate and consistent standards (equipment, procedures, security) throughout the group, and provide training and coaching for factory personnel.
In This Role You Will
Work with the Process Control Manager to provide expert support for all sites on process control for PLC's, SCADA, robotics, and to maintain a central safe storage for key programs and site backups.Deliver process control and automation improvement projects.Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver on major capital projects.Maintain, upgrade and document process control systems
What You Bring To The Role
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical , Mechatronic or related engineering field.Previous experience in process control, automation, or related field.Industry experience – heavy industry, manufacturing or FMCGExperience working with Siemens S7 PLC and InTouch HMI systems - advantageousExperience with Microsoft SQL and Access databases - PreferredWorking knowledge of Safety systems (eg AS4024) - EssentialDocumentation writing – essentialCurrent drivers licence & the ability to travel to various CSR sites
