About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to support the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for clinical services across Metro North Hospital and Health Service in a client focussed and transparent manner.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Support the Principal Procurement and Contracts Officer to provide a point of accountability and manage all aspects of clinical services procurement, management and reporting within Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
Protection of Metro North reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency.
Ensure communication and consultation with key department personnel to ensure all procurement processes are compliant and inclusive, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring successful procurement outcomes.
Undertake procurement activities as directed by the Principal Procurement & Contract Officer including maintaining a positive relationship with all customers and suppliers.
