The Procurement Manager oversees the purchasing and supply of medical products, ensuring the medical shop maintains sufficient inventory to meet customer needs while controlling costs. This position demands excellent negotiation skills, market insight, and adherence to Australian healthcare and procurement regulations.

The position reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
- QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 1 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and oversee challenging, multistake holder initiatives.
- Familiar with ERP software such as Cin7, SAP, Oracle, MYOB Advance, Acumatica.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate both collaboratively and independently.
- Outstanding contract management expertise and excellent negotiation skills.
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep track of every purchase, storage, and distribution-related transaction.
- Plan and execute policies and plans for purchasing.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier reliability Communicating with clients and other departments regarding outbound goods requirements and related forwarding transportation.
- Oversee the procurement process from start to finish.
- Keep track of supply and completed goods movements using recording methods to ensure prompt reordering and restocking.
- Assess and enhance storage and inventory systems to meet supply needs and manage stock levels effectively.
- Lead and evaluate staff performance to drive efficiency and productivity.
Negotiate supplier contracts to fulfil quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- SALARY
$75,000 to $90,000 per year
- WORKING HOURS
38 hours per week.
