Product Design Engineer

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drive the full product development cycle - from concept through to production
• Partner with industrial designers, engineers, and clients to deliver refined, scalable solutions
• Develop electro-mechanical assemblies for high-volume consumer products
• Liaise directly with suppliers and manufacturers to manage DFM, tooling, and production ramp-up
• Iterate rapidly with CAD, prototyping, and validation testing
• Contribute to documentation, BOMs, and production-ready assets

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in product development (ideally in consumer electronics)
• Solid mechanical engineering foundation with integration experience across electronics and embedded components
• Track record of liaising with factories and suppliers - especially across Asia
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative cycles
• Working knowledge of mass production processes like injection molding, die casting, etc.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and confident communicating across technical and creative disciplines

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with sustainable materials and circular design principles
• Experience in compliance testing and standards
• Workshop or hands-on prototyping skills

This is a full-time position at our studio in Sydney. Salary commensurate with experience.
