About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the evolution of our loan management system and lending core platform. You will own the full product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, compliance, marketing, support, and executive leadership. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and requires deep expertise in credit, SaaS platform development, and regulatory compliance across multiple markets.
ResponsibilitiesOwn the development and ongoing improvement of a robust, scalable, and compliant loan management system that supports both consumer and business lending.Translate complex lending workflows — including interest calculations, fee assessments, repayment schedules, and risk assessments — into clear, actionable product requirements.Partner closely with engineering to design a flexible, API-first architecture that enables integrations, drives operational efficiency, and supports commercial scalability.Work with compliance and risk teams to embed regulatory requirements into the product from the outset, ensuring the platform meets legal and risk management standards across all operating markets.Prioritise initiatives based on business outcomes — including revenue growth, risk mitigation, customer experience, and operational scalability — informed by customer insights, competitive intelligence, and financial metrics.Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, particularly in loan servicing and repayment workflows, to drive platform improvements that deliver measurable value.Synthesise quantitative and qualitative data to identify product opportunities, break them into small, testable increments, and lead the squad in delivering rapid, iterative improvements.Act as the primary communicator of product vision, technical requirements, regulatory considerations, and business goals to all internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and momentum across teams.
RequirementsDeep Lending Expertise: End-to-end understanding of the lending lifecycle, including credit risk assessment, origination, servicing, collections, interest calculations, fee structures, and regulatory compliance. Able to translate complex financial workflows into scalable, system-supported solutions.Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with cloud-based SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architecture, API design, payment systems (disbursements, repayments, reconciliations), and core banking or lending engines. Able to partner closely with engineering on technical decisions.Outcome-Driven Product Management: Focused on delivering measurable business outcomes over shipping features. Skilled in identifying high-leverage opportunities that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer success. Familiar with frameworks like Outcome-Driven Innovation and Jobs to Be Done.Data-Led Decision Making: Able to design metrics frameworks tied to business goals. Skilled in analysing customer usage data, financial KPIs, risk metrics, and operational data. Proficient in using SQL or analytics tools to validate hypotheses and guide prioritisation.Risk and Compliance Awareness: Proactively identifies regulatory, credit, operational, and technical risks. Embeds risk mitigation strategies into product design rather than treating compliance as an afterthought. Comfortable navigating lending regulatory frameworks across markets.Strategic Commercial Mindset: Understands how lending products create value for the business. Prioritises work based on improving unit economics (default rates, repayment rates, cost to serve) and long-term sustainability.Leadership and Communication: Skilled in working across squads, legal, compliance, support, and leadership. Communicates clearly, framing decisions around customer needs, business value, and system integrity. Able to rally teams around a clear product vision.
