Task & Responsibilities
Duties
- Develop and execute production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customization of your bus as per clients specifications.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize production processes and meet client requirements.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Implement measures to continuously improve product quality and reliability.
- Manage human and material resources effectively to optimize production efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring that expenditures are within budgetary limits.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular updates on production progress, issues, and solutions.
- Oversee inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory and stockouts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance.
- Prepare regular reports on production metrics, highlighting areas of improvement and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for production operations.
- Coordinate with other departmental managers to communicate production updates, issues, and requirements effectively.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as a Production Manager in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
