Warehouse & Production Team Lead

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 + Super (Negotiable based on experience)

Australian Wax Company seeks a proactive Team Leader to manage production and warehouse operations, and a small team in Clayton South. Flexible, hands-on role with autonomy.

The Role

This full-time position is based onsite in Clayton South, VIC, with working hours from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll oversee all aspects of warehouse and production operations, ensuring seamless workflows and providing leadership to a small, motivated team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll enjoy autonomy and responsibility while being supported with training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Oversight: Plan, organise, and monitor production schedules, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Warehouse Management: Maintain inventory levels, oversee stock organisation, and manage logistics for deliveries and shipments.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to meet performance goals and maintain workplace morale.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding shipping updates and resolve order-related queries promptly.
  • Health & Safety Champion: Promote a safe work environment by adhering to and championing workplace safety standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve operational issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate machinery and be physically capable of moving boxes that are 20kg when putting away stock or packing orders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven background in manufacturing, warehouse operations, and logistics, including production management and order fulfillment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with Xero and Katana is a bonus but not essential.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to inventory management, invoicing, and order accuracy.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, maintain productivity, and foster a positive work culture.
  • Problem-Solver: Quick-thinking and solutions-oriented, able to resolve discrepancies or challenges efficiently.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear verbal and written communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and team members.

Licences/Certifications:

· Drivers licence (preferred)

· Forklift licence (required)
