Program Manager | Workplace Transformation | $1449 per day

Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking a Workplace Transformation Program Manager (Formal Title = Senior Manager - Project Delivery) to join their team. 

The role is key to leading consultation, determining policy position, and implementing a large scale workforce transformation / return to office program of work.

You will manage a high-profile, strategic, enterprise-wide people impact program, encompassing five key work streams: Change and Communications, Workforce Relations, Workplaces, Data, and Safety.

The role also provides direction to ensure accountability and successful program delivery, while functioning as the primary point of contact for key project sponsors, stakeholders, and governance groups.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Provide high-quality expert advice to senior management and project managers to enable strategic thinking and the successful delivery of projects within the portfolio.
2. Lead the team to ensure that systems and processes are in place so that all delivery complies with the relevant requirements and that the appropriate risk mitigation are in place.
3. Provide regular and comprehensive reporting on the status of project performance and risks and issues with may impact scheduling and the delivery of outcomes.
4. Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships within program team and across key business areas.
5. Manage a program team of direct reports to drive successful delivery, mitigate risks, and deliver regular updates to the Program Director.

Essential Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated experience as a Project or Program Manager with a focus on delivery. 
2. Essential: Demonstrated background in delivering Organisational Transformation projects, such as Workplace transformation, Organisation redesign and Workforce change within large enterprise
3. A strong background with People change, or HR Projects would be highly desirable.
