Your new role As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by undertaking a wide range of responsibilities. Working closely alongside the company director, your key responsibilities will include:
Establishing and maintaining efficient filing and archiving systems. Coordinating travel, accommodation, and site mobilisation requests. Assisting with claims, purchasing, and basic contract administration requirements.
Reading and Interpreting civil drawings Supporting Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, including assisting with management plans and ensuring subcontractor compliance. Documenting project performance, preparing reports, and contributing to risk assessments and method statements.
Liaising with stakeholders, community groups, architects, engineers, and technical personnel to ensure project success. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional duties may be assigned based on project needs.
What you'll need to succeed To succeed as Project Coordinator, you will have the following skills and qualifications: Degree in Project Management, Business administration, engineering or related field.
Experience in a similar role supporting civil construction projects is an essential requirement. Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, best practices and software. Strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
