About the Client: Our client is a leading engineering firm in the mining and metals sector, recognized for their excellence in delivering major projects both locally and internationally. They are seeking an experienced Project Director or Senior Project Manager to oversee their high-profile projects in Perth.

Role Overview: In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of large-scale mining and metals projects, ensuring successful delivery while meeting time, budget, and quality expectations. You will lead cross-functional teams, handle client relationships, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Direct all phases of project execution, from planning through to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project alignment with their needs.
• Budget and Risk Management: Oversee project budgets and schedules, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Identify and manage risks to minimize project disruptions.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety within the team.

• Experience: Significant experience in project management within the mining and metals industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Qualifications: A degree in engineering, project management, or a related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of mining and metals processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
