Project Manager

• 12 Month contract + high potential to extend
• Day rate up to $950 + Super depending on provided experience
• Hybrid working arrangement - WFH/Office
  

One of Australia's highly reputable financial institutions are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a large-scale AML program. This role focuses on governance, policy, and capability development to ensure compliance with strict regulatory requirements, maintain rigorous documentation, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full end-to-end project delivery within the workstream.
• Develop, implement, and embed governance, policy, and capability initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure strict documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic improvements and challenge existing processes.
• Lead the design of third-party and employee-related processes currently in early development stages.

About You:

• Proven experience in project management with a strong track record of end-to-end delivery.
• Must have expertise in governance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management. AML and financial crime experience is beneficial
• Must have experience managing regulatory-driven projects
• Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and provide strategic insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
