Specializing in building diagnostics and remedial project management for residential and commercial properties, the consultancy provides services to clients across strata, government, and property management sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a Remedial Consultancy background, managing a variety of remedial projects and supporting engineering and site inspection work. Job Responsibilities:Manage remedial building projects across residential and commercial sites.Supervise construction activities and ensure project deliverables are achieved to required standards and within budget.Assist with building diagnostics, including site inspections and preparation of technical reports (e.g., building surveys, specifications, defect reports, contract administration).Act as a superintendent/contract administrator on projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and Australian Standards.Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Provide mentoring and support to other team members as needed. Requirements:Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar project management role, preferably with exposure to diagnostic and remedial works.Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in technical report writing.Well-developed stakeholder management and client service skills.Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively contribute to ongoing projects from day one.Ability to lead projects independently and offer technical solutions.Experience within the strata industry highly regarded.
