Reliable Plumbing Services (RPS), a leading plumbing provider in the tertiary education sector, is experiencing exciting growth due to recent contract wins. We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our stable and supportive team in a hybrid role that combines hands-on plumbing expertise with opportunities for development in tendering and project management.

In this pivotal role, you will provide on-site support to our Monash University Service Technicians, Service Manager, and Company Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality technical plumbing works

• Assuming aspects of Service Management, including on-site project team leadership, mentoring, and support for our Service Technicians

• Contributing to client management and quoting to ensure positive outcomes for Reliable Plumbing Services and our clients

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Genuine enthusiasm for engaging with individuals on job sites and liaising with stakeholders

• Strong communication, project management, and time planning skills

• A proactive, solution-oriented approach that instills client confidence

Reporting to and collaborating with the Monash University Service Manager, your role will encompass:

• Maintenance Plumbing: Providing essential on-site plumbing services.

• Quoting and Estimating: Developing accurate and competitive project quotes.

• Project Management: Assisting in project planning, execution, and monitoring of plumbing projects.

• Client Management/EHS/Inventory Management: Fostering client relationships, ensuring safety protocol adherence, and managing on-site inventory.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proven ability to function effectively as a team player, demonstrating professionalism and focus.

• Capacity to work autonomously and manage workload independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
