The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

Reporting to an Operations Manager within Notifications, the Project Scheduler – Notifications (Investigations) plays a key role in supporting the progression of regulatory cases through detailed scheduling and project coordination. Complex investigations require the right personnel and resources to be available at the right time; this role is responsible for ensuring that investigative activities are well-scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time, improving outcomes for stakeholders and maintaining compliance with legislative timeframes.

We're currently recruiting for four ongoing, full-time roles, which can be based at any Ahpra office in Australia.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain investigation schedules to support case management teams
  • Monitor progress of case activities and update timelines and trackers where required
  • Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders on project progress, risks and deadlines
  • Monitor key dates and ensure legislative and internal timeframes are met
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate resources and allow for complex investigative tasks to be delivered on time

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Qualifications in project management or a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong time management and organisational skills in a high-volume environment
  • Experience using project management tools or scheduling software
  • Ability to interpret and track regulatory or investigative processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and timelines clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems
