Property Accounts Officer

Position

An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Officer to support the CFO of a highly reputable property management business. This role is based in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, and is a permanent full-time role. 

This role allows you to work in a leading boutique agency who are passionate about delivering excellence. This position is integral to their finance operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining organized financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to and supporting the CFO, this position is a key role in the organisation and requires an organised, motivated and skilled Accounts Officer.

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

• Managing all aspects of accounts payable relating to the commercial property portfolio;
• Managing records and data processing;
• Attending to month end reconciliations and reporting;
• Adhering to monthly checklists and procedures;
• Assisting with outgoings management including annual budgeting and reconciliation;
• Adhering to compliance obligations;
• Providing administration support and assistance to the team;

Skills and ExperienceAs the suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience within accounts administration. 

• Demonstrated experience in accounts;
• High level of attention to detail;
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite;
• Ability to be organised and work autonomously; 
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills;
• Fantastic teamwork skills.
