Psychiatrist

The RoleA terrific opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our client's Mental Health Unit, providing clinical services, direction, and leadership in the mental health program. This position will be involved in the education and supervision of medical officers, undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.

 The Facility:Our client is a major tertiary hospital located in Adelaide, affiliated with both the University of Adelaide, and University of South Australia. This is an urban district hospital with a busy ED, where your caseload will cover a wide range of both adult and paediatric presentations.

The RequirementsOne or more of the following may apply

• Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist
• Hold or Eligible for the FRANZCP and confident of Substantial Comparabilty. 
• IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
• IMG's assessed by RANZCP and found to be substantially comparable.
