About the Role
The QA/QC Administrator supports the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions by managing documentation, tracking inspection records, maintaining registers, and ensuring compliance with project quality requirements. This role is critical in ensuring traceability, accuracy, and timely completion of all QA/QC documentation across project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update QA/QC registers including ITPs, ITRs, FICs, and NCRs.
Track progress and completion of inspection and test records against project milestones.
Ensure all documentation is correctly coded, formatted, and stored in accordance with project standards.
Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and inspectors to collect and verify quality documentation.
Support QA/QC audits by preparing and providing documentation as required.
Coordinate with third-party inspectors and client representatives for sign-offs and documentation review.
Prepare turnover/handover packages in alignment with project closeout requirements.
Assist with the control and distribution of revised drawings, procedures, and specifications.
Skills and Experience
Prior experience in a quality, document control, or project admin role (ideally in construction, mining, or industrial projects).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Aconex or other document management systems is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to interpret and work with QA documentation such as ITPs and inspection records.
Effective communication and coordination skills across site and office teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
Certificate or training in Quality Management, Document Control, or Business Administration.
Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems.
Understanding of fabrication, welding, or NDT processes is a plus.
