AJ'Z Cafe & Street Food Pty Ltd (Punjabi Taste) is seeking a qualified and reliable Chef to join our team to assist with our upcoming expansion.

Task & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Taking charge of day-to-day kitchen operations;
Leading the kitchen team in preparing high-quality dishes;
Generally supervising kitchen staff;
Ensuring food safety standards are followed and adhered to;
Contribute to menu planning, weekly specials and creativity in the kitchen; and
Maintaining inventory.

Qualification & Experience

The successful applicant will require culinary qualifications at a Certificate IV level or higher, at least 12 months previous work experience in a commercial kitchen environment (more than 12 months would be a distinct advantage); proven financial management skills, including the ability to effectively control kitchen costs and maximise profitability, excellent presentation and communication skills and a willingness to work flexible hours, shift/s including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
