Kelso Electrical is a maintenance & installation / construction based electrical company providing in house services for all Electrical, Level 1 & 2 ASP Accredited O/H & U/G (Essential & Endeavour Energy), Civil, Aeronautical Runway Lighting, Communications, Fibre Optical Network, Security & Access Control, CCTV, MATV, Air Conditioning & Solar sectors to domestic, commercial, Government and industrial clientele.

Currently comprising of 40+ staff across all specialty sectors we thrive on providing successful outcomes to both clients and employees alike.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic electrician looking to up skill their career, with all on the job training and costs provided to enable the successful applicants skillset to flourish.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Work individually or as a team.

  • Electrical maintenance & installation all areas.

  • Communications maintenance & installation.

  • Sound knowledge of the electrical industry.

  • Read and follow electrical drawings & scope.

  • Manage time effectively.

  • Provide guidance to junior staff.

  • Communicate with office staff and clientele effectively.

  • Manage warehouse material inventory to projects.

  • Site quoting / estimations.

  • Daily use of web based management software.

  • Accredited ASP works.

Skills and experience

  • Electrical trade qualification (must).

  • Drivers license (must).

  • White card (must).

  • Master cabling license (advantage).

  • EWP license (advantage).

  • High risk license (advantage).

  • ASP accreditation (advantage).

  • Domestic / commercial construction experience (advantage).

  • Experience with Aroflo software (advantage).
