This is a hybrid role, where 2 days from home and 3 days in an office in Sydney – we have offices in Surry Hills, just beside the Central train station or Warriewood in the northern beaches – with carparking or public transport options available.

Purpose of role:

The Quality Manager, Systems and Culture is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining quality management systems that drive operational excellence and foster a strong quality culture within Blackmores. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices while embedding a mindset of continuous improvement and quality ownership across the Quality and Group Operations function.

Responsibilities include:

  • Quality Management Systems: Implement and maintain current Quality Management Systems, ensure documentation, procedures and policies align with regulatory and company requirements. Monitor and analyse quality metrics, driving data-based decision-making for improvements.
  • Culture & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of quality by promoting best practices, training and engagement across teams. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and system adherence. Lead initiatives to enhance employee ownership of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards and customer expectations. Identify and mitigate quality risks through proactive assessment and improvement plans. Collaborate with leadership to align quality objectives with Blackmores strategy.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Act as key point of contact for Quality Systems related matters. Partner with operational teams to embed quality-driven processes. Provide leadership in resolving quality-related systems issues and driving root cause analysis. Foster a proactive and engaged workforce through coaching and mentoring.

Who are you?

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Quality or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in Quality with proven track record of leading teams to implement and develop high-quality systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with proven experience in driving a high performing team and agile culture.
  • Strong knowledge of the Health Authority Organisations, TGA.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, risk management and industry standards
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and drive quality improvements
  • Experience in driving cultural change and fostering continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly agile workplace.
