Quarry Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Excavator Operator with at least 2-3 years operating experience in a quarry or mining environment. 

• $40/hr + super + penalties

This is an ongoing casual position for the right candidate, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time role after 3 months.

What you need

• Excavator Ticket (mandatory)
• MMQ, CBM or willingness to obtain a sufficient medical
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• 2-3+ years of relevant operating experience
• A strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude
• Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

What you will be doing

• Following all workplace health and safety requirements
• Operating excavators and other machinery in a quarry environment
• Loading and unloading quarry materials into trucks
• Assisting with other quarry operations as required
• Working effectively within a team under the direction of the Site Supervisor or Foreman
