Receptionist/Retail Assistant – World Gym Palmerston

World Gym Palmerston is currently seeking an energetic, motivated receptionist/retail assistant to join our full time team.

The position on offer is full time, Monday to Friday roster, 5.00am - 1.00pm morning shifts. 
 

The position requires an individual that is dedicated to the job, willing to learn and thrives under pressure. 

What you’ll be doing in this role:

• Greeting members and handling general enquiries

• Answering phone calls

• Making shakes at our Barbell Café

• Completing POS retail sales

• Maintaining cleanliness of the gym

• Completing stocktakes and ensuring stock levels are correct

• Assisting with social media

• Entering and receiving purchase orders

• Building and maintaining retail displays

What you need to be successful:

• A passion for health and fitness

• A “can do” and proactive attitude

• Experience in similar retail or customer service role

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
