About This Role
Our clinic in Albany is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team.
The role is a full time position, reporting to the Area Chief MIT, working 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday between 7:30am – 5:30pm.
We are open to a part time opportunity for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure.Interventional Procedures include: Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages, and Pain Management Injections.Administering medication as required for the procedure/examination.Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff, and managers.
What we're looking for:
✅ Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication.
✅ Canulation proficiency is essential.
✅ Prior experience working in a clinic or hospital environment – this role is not suited to a newly graduated Registered Nurse.
