Registered Practice Nurse

GP Medical Practice, well established for over 45 years is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Practice Nurse for immediate start. We are a friendly and supportive practice based in Sydney’s Western Suburbs (St.Clair). The ideal candidate will have experience as a practice nurse, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as be a good team player.

The Role:

• Provide high quality nursing care and support to patients and general practitioners

• Clinical duties including assisting with procedures, patient care, wound management, ECGs administering immunisations, medications and treatments as prescribed

• Chronic disease management including the development of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Comprehensive Medical Assessments

• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Educate patients about health management and care plans.

You will need:

• Previous experience in a nursing role within general practice

• Previous experience with Best Practice software (desirable)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

• Good problem solving skills as well as ability to work independently, as well as be an effective team player

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
