The Regulatory Gaming Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Manager to ensure compliance objectives are consistently met within ALH Gaming rooms. The Specialist will partner with each Venue Manager and teams to raise awareness, develop processes and support effective compliance outcomes.
This position collaborates with cross-functional internal teams to implement and optimize financial crime and safer gambling controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Maintain specialist state based Gaming Compliance knowledge with a focus on AML/CTF, Safer Gaming & the Gaming Machine Control Act.
- Implement strategies to embed compliance objectives within the ALH Hotels the Operations Manager is responsible for operating.
- Work collaboratively with the AML and safer gambling teams to ensure continuous improvement of controls relevant to ML/TF and gambling harm.
- Support venue teams with escalated decisions and advice.
- Deliver and refine targeted training modules in consultation with Endeavour Capability Team for gaming employees across the ALH venues.
- Ensure regulatory and audit findings are tracked to completion and appropriate closer testing is conducted.
- Assist in the implementation of uplifted AML/CTF and safer gambling processes, capability and technology.
- Share insights to Operational Manager of Compliance improvements and areas of opportunity.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- 3+ years experience in a gaming operations position.
- Knowledge of the AML/CTF Act, safer gambling practices and Gaming Machine Control Act Victoria.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to continuously explore new ways to understand and deliver on changing customer needs.
- Stakeholder management skills to build and foster positive relationships.
- Strong initiative, time management and exceptional communication skills.
- Bachelors Degree in appropriate field of study, deisrable.
- Experience enhancing organisational compliance capability (data, technology, training, intelligence), preferably in AML/CTF and Responsible Gambling, desirable.
