Minimum 20 hours up to 35 hours per week during peak periods (weekdays only). From $35 per hours.

ACME CARRIERS is seeking a Removalist Offsider to join their busy team, based at their Wangara depot

Established for over 20 years, we are a small family run business that specialises in the relocation (and storage) of pianos, pool tables and antiquities throughout the metro area.

We are seeking an individual who is:

• Physically fit and strong

• Well presented and well spoken

• Positive attitude, who can easily adapt to a busy and changing work schedule

• Able to easily follow written and verbal instructions

• Be polite, friendly, patient & responsive with customers

• Must be punctual, reliable, flexible and responsible

• Must live within 20-30km of our depot

• Must have current C class drivers licence

• Must have permanent rights to work in Australia

• Forklift licence and some PC skills would be advantageous

You will be responsible for:

• Working as a team to complete moves

• Checking equipment

• Planning ahead for each job and its relevant requirements

• Completing moves in an efficient and safe manner

• Adhering to business policies and standards

• Assisting in the storage warehouse, including wrapping, crating, stacking and labelling.

• Use of forklift (if required and licenced)

Experience in the warehousing or removalist industry, or a similar field would be considered advantageous. However, we will train the right candidate.
