Your next career opportunity
As a Research Assistant in the Active-Prem study, you'll play a crucial role in improving physical activity participation for preschool-age children born very preterm. You'll manage accelerometer data collection, contribute to a randomised controlled trial, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This role offers you the opportunity to make a tangible difference in paediatric health while developing valuable research skills in a supportive, innovative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Manage Accelerometer Data: Initialise devices, oversee postage, and process data for all trial participants.

Ensure Data Integrity: Maintain high-standard data management procedures according to research protocols.

Prepare Physical Activity Reports: Contribute to the creation of two reports per child, adhering to study guidelines.

Support Research Activities: Assist with data collection follow-up, cleaning, and other tasks crucial to the RCT's success.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a detail-oriented professional with a relevant qualification in exercise science, physiology, physiotherapy, or allied health, possessing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

You may also:

Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key partners.

Demonstrate strong data management skills with a keen eye for detail and data integrity.

Show initiative, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organisational skills.

Have experience in physical activity measurement and data collection (desirable).
