About the Role
NOTE: This is a 6-month maternity leave cover position.
As the Reservations Supervisor, you will be pivotal in shaping guest interactions and ensuring a seamless reservation process at COMO The Treasury and State Buildings. Reporting to the Revenue and Distribution Manager, you will oversee and update SOPs, manage reservations and dining sales, and maintain key platforms like Sevenrooms. Your role involves monitoring market trends and guest feedback, developing strong relationships with agents and corporate accounts, and leading the Front Office and Reservations teams in daily operations and training. You will also handle financial tasks, including expenditure control and AR account management, ensuring high standards of customer service and effective revenue management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and update the reservations department’s SOPs to align with Leading Quality Global Standards and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Manage reservations and dining sales for rooms and events, coordinating with relevant departments to optimize yield management and handle guest issues, including overbookings.
- Maintain and update dining reservations platforms (Sevenrooms) and manage cloud documents for events and planning.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and guest feedback to provide insights for Sales and Revenue Managers, and ensure effective communication with Sales, Marketing, and Events departments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with agents and corporate accounts, including hosting site inspections and coordinating follow-ups.
- Administer daily operations and training for Front Office and Reservations teams, handle guest profiles, process gift cards, and manage financial tasks, including expenditure control and AR account management.

Skills and experience
- You will likely already possess at least 1 year experience in a comparable Reservations role with an understanding of the needs and desires of the luxury traveler.
- The role will require an exceptional level of both written and verbal skills, communication, organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.
- Ideally you will have experience in using hotel reservations systems.
